Hello world,

My name is Dominique, but most people just call me DJ. I am a 23 year old freelance artist out of Rhode Island. I am originally from Massachusetts. I’ve always had an interest in art. I’ve pursued many things in my life. In my younger years, I had Olympic aspirations in the sport of Judo. I was 10x US national champion. For 15 years I travelled all over the country and world. After injury, I became a bartender for a local restaurant and eventually a manager for a large corporate chain restaurant. In between, I spent some time as an Emergency Medical Technician driving ambulances and taking care of the sick/unwell. My real calling is art. I enjoy creating pieces that bring joy into people’s lives. Almost completely self-taught, I am always learning ways to improve the quality and processes of my work.
